The things I'm most upset about this story is 1) it’s too short, 2) where’s my damn epilogue, and 3) why hasn’t this author written more?

This has an enemies to lovers vibe, a touch of hurt comfort, and plausible twisty feels to go with some smexy smex. Throw in a grumpy bear (no, not the animal), a bit of an age gap, and two men literally trapped by circumstance that forces them to confront their feelings and make some confessions all against the backdrop of a hot night in Egypt on Christmas Eve.

Highly enjoyable. I will be on the lookout for more form this author!

Thank you to the author/publisher for a copy in exchange for a honest review

This is Blue Jones' debut story, and it's a super cute one. I really loved the atmosphere, the attention to detail and description. As a huge fan of Ancient Egypt, and an archaeological student, I was eager but apprehensive about reading this one. But, the plot was well written, the archaeological information was appropriate for the length of the story, and accurate and not overly academic. I love that it was easy to follow, that there was a really nice chemistry between the two MC's from the start. There was a hint of enemies-to-lovers, and second-chance romance. I would love to read this as a novel, to really explore the before and after aspects of the relationship. And I'll definitely be reading Blue Jones again.

Quick read about second chances - well for Will certainly as he doesn’t believe Jude remembers their one quick tryst.
The sandstorm forces the two to hide out together and do what men must!
Will has some self confidence issues, hence not thinking Jude remembers their solstice hook up - but Jude did and tells!
