Seven Nights of Sin picks up where the first book left off. Presley is heartbroken when Dom accuses her of betrayal. She is in desperate need to help her brother when she acts totally out of character and does the unthinkable. When that goes terribly wrong, she turns to Dom to rescue her. Dom is beside himself that Presley could have been hurt and wants to take care of her. His mixed signals and their lingering sexual tension has both he and Presley on the edge. They feel they have both been betrayed, but their chemistry, and desire for each other cause them to really dig deep to consider if they are worth fighting for. I loved this heartwarming, and steamy romance, and it was made even better by the amazing talents of Jacob Morgan, and Andi Arndt returning to narrate. I easily felt all the passion, heartbreak, joy, and love these characters felt as they brought this story to life. The combination of Ryan's heartfelt story, witty banter, and great characters, along with the flawless narration by Morgan and Arndt, made this a complete joy to listen too.

Hoopla listen narrated by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt.

Second part, almost predictable but not really. Like the last story, Jacob’s kid voices are so good. Completely happy with the ending!

She blew into his life. Blew up his heart. Betrayed his trust and now wants a second chance. Dominic and Presley are playing with fire and I couldn't help but love the burn. Falling in love is easy, falling out of love is the hard part. Seven Nights of Sin feeds the addiction. Ryan keeps things deliciously, dangerous with a hint of heartache to smooth out the heatwave. Sweet temptation.

And since I already removed my bra before getting into bed earlier, I'm in my birthday suit in less than a second.
Showing Dominic how sorry I am - showing him that I'm willing to put all my insecurities, my doubts, my freaking self-preservation aside to get him to trust me again - is the only thing on my mind. I'm offering myself up on a silver platter. Offering to fix this without words.

How can anyone write something like this in the 21th century (in a book playing in this century)? Since when is offering yourself naked to a man a solution to any problem? I didn't read more after this paragraph, this was just too much... I really hope Dominic threw her out and the book was over, because a person like this shouldn't get to be a 'step mother' to little girls... She is the worst role model I could imagine for any children.

This was an absolute waste of time and could have easily been combined with the first one. I don't even know why I bother at this point.

At least Jacob Morgan narrated. I can listen to him whimper all day every day.  (edit: WHEN DID I WRITE THIS WHAT???? IM CACKLINGGGG)

That's all I remember, and thank the Lord for that.

Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Complicated

Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I loved the storyline and loved most of the characters. The lower rating is because I think the female lead has no backbone whatsoever. She just accepted everything the male lead dangled in front of her.

2⭐️ We continue the dramatic saga of Dominic and Presley. This book was so aggravating! Dominic is definitely an asshole and said some messed up stuff. Why is he so moody? Acting like a little bitch is neeeeever a turn on. When does he ever officially apologize oh yeah, never.
It’s aggravating and frustrating to see Presley just jump every time he says to do something instead of standing up for herself. She does have a lot to lose but have some self respect! Where is the apology and some groveling that is owed to her?! At 78% in book 2 is where she stands up for herself. That is waaaaay too late.
It at least ends with a HEA but that was just too much.

Worth the read?: NO
Reread?: NO

Read if you like:

Having left our ingenue in the hands of her cold-hearted boss at the end of Book 1, we wonder what has become of the fair Presley, down on her luck and in trouble. All of the answers as the Penthouse Affair continues...

LOL, over the top, maybe, but I have to admit, I wasn't sure that Dom could redeem himself. I mean, I truly wanted to smack him in the head more than once while reading THE TWO WEEK ARRANGEMENT, and, Presley, child, why in the world are you letting him treat you like that?

But, friends, this is Kendall Ryan, and there will be no unhappy endings, thank goodness. I actually really ended up liking Dominic, once he got his head out of his butt, and got his act together. By the end of this book, I was rooting for him and Presley to get past all of their obstacles and end up happily in love, and as equals, for the love of all things holy. Luckily for him, I will not have to step in and teach him how to treat his lady. Presley finally came into her own here, too, and opened Dom's eyes to her worth and her strength, because she finally began to believe in herself. Hallelujah!

I'm happy to say that SEVEN NIGHTS OF SIN earned its stars, and ended up being the perfect finish to this couple's story. If an angst-ridden road to a HEA, with plenty of sizzle and a couple of cute as heck kiddos is your thing, this is the book for you. As an aside, this is not a standalone read, because Book 1 is a must (you wouldn't want to miss out on any of the lead-in, after all). Grab them both and enjoy.
