The conclusion to the two-part series The Penthouse Affairs met my expectations. There was drama, there was sweetness, and there was a HEA. What more do you need?

I dnf this like at 2%, I did pick it back up a few weeks after so. Anyways Dom is an ass, really don’t like the guy, he’s all about work and sex and doesn’t not enough time to spend with his daughters. Presley is naïve, she begged Dom for forgiveness while Dom treats her like a useless pet and the only time he pays any attention to her is to have sex with her. Every time something goes good Dom has to shut it down and Presley is always the one begging and doing all the work while Dom only feels slightly guilty. I think they are book pathetic the whole book except for the last chapter and the epilogue.
I have no problem with smutty scenes but this whole book is just two people who are supposed to be in love having sex but it’s just literally as if he’s with an escort. They have no chemistry whatsoever only when having sex and taking care of the kids… so yeah.

I had a harder time liking Dominic because of his need to be cold and punish her. I don't know why but it disappointed me. His behavior isn't all that unusual but it just seemed like a back step. Though he does that with regularity as well.
For all those waiting for the HEA, its here.

Well if the FMC annoyed me in the first one she was practically unbearable in this one and now the MMC was also shitty. FMC knew what she got herself into when she agreed to see Dom yet asked “do I change him?” How can she be the know it all when she literally doesn’t know shit???
I wanted to give up on this and I only stuck it out for Jacob Morgan narrating.
Also why tf did Presley go off telling Bianca and her brother about Dom’s kids after he kept them private????

Okay, I think the plot in this book could have been pretty interesting if the author played it out right. There were a few big points and conflicts that could have been capitalized on but it seemed to focus only on the romance and glaze over everything else. Why bring up such a big unrelated problem and then just quit mentioning it?
The resolution felt wayyyyy too quick. There were problems that existed since even before the first book began and they were resolved with like thee lines of dialogue. That just seems unbelievable to me.
Also there was so much back and forth, on and off, conflict between the main characters that I was kind of getting annoyed.
But I don't want to hate on it too much because the romance was ok and I feel like the placement of the spicy scenes was really good.
