This book gets me every time. Iā€™m not the biggest fan of ā€˜rockstarā€™ romances, especially when they take place on tour. Because of this, the ones that I do love are particularly captivating, well written, etc. This applies big time to the Happy Ever After Playlist

This book is so special and I always relish my time spent with these characters. Watching Sloan rebuild after an unspeakable loss is a beautiful thing. The balance of emotion, humour, and romance in this book is perfect (as is always the case for an Abby Jimenez book)

This book jumped into my heart like Tucker in a sunroof and I am not at all mad about it

Will Abby Jimenez ever write a book that doesnā€™t make me cry like a baby? All signs point to no!

Side note: you do not have to read the friend zone in order to enjoy this, it reads fine as a stand alone. HOWEVER the love and appreciation for Sloane is amplified x100000 if you do.
Side note 2: it really, really bothers me that they chose to name him ā€œJackson Watersā€ when thereā€™s already a band by that name, it did mess me up at the beginning but I cannot detract a star for it.

A wonderful book where two creatives are brought together by a crazy doggo.
Strangers to lovers, second chance after strains on a relationship.  This book is so well written. The romance itself so wholesome.
Dealing with themes of grief and also lying to protect others are dealt with alongside developing communication to be good together as a couple.  I love this book and would definitely reccomend
