A moving account of father-daughter ties — and the mental health challenges so many Viet vets faced. Because Trussoni is so talented, the story swings along, even as her family struggles through awful pain. I’m grateful to have found this book.

Danielle describes growing up with a Vietnam vet (a tunnell crawler) and how she tried to understand and gain closure by visiting Vietnam.

A father-daughter story that stuck with me and made me appreciate my dad for not being like Trussoni's. Falling Through the Earth follows Trussoni's journey trying to understand her father, her family, and why things happened the way they did. Very well-written, with interesting anecdotes and time jumps.
