Somewhere between a 3 and a 3.5 for me. I did enjoy most of it, and it was a pretty quick and engrossing read. I can't remember exactly what/when they were in the book but there were some Americanisms that threw me off - I'm not a Brit (for which I am sad everyday) but I know some about their policing and these references/allusions/whatever just bothered me... I also felt like the final third of the book just ran on a bit - don't know much about novel writing, but maybe that's the hard bit 'cause I often feel like this is the part that makes or breaks a book for me.

I may or may not read more of the series - time and other people's reviews will tell.

Rychlovka přečtená o víkendu u rodičů.

A dojmy jsou... víceméně průměrné. Vraha jsem ale neodhalila, což je plus bod.

Další plus bod je za přiměřené množství postav a celkem jasnou dějovou linii, díky čemuž oddychovka fakt zůstává oddychovkou. Pro někoho to může být negativum, ale já fakt potřebovala vypnout a tohle zcela splnilo moje nároky.

Série s Erikou Fosterovou (soudě dle prvního dílu) detektivní žánr nikam daleko neposouvá a ničím zvlášť nevyčnívá. Výsledek tedy nenadchne ani neurazí a děj vám nejspíš postupně splyne s hromadou podobných detektivních příběhů.

Dokonce tuším, že za pár let si to budu moci přečíst znovu... a budu znovu překvapená tím, kdo je vrah :)

El primero de la serie y me ha atrapado completamente. Soy nueva en el thriller por lo que no sé su clichés pero vamos a dejar que el libro engancha hasta su última página.
La Detective Jefe Erika Foster es una mujer de 40 años recién instituida de nuevo a su cargo, tocándole la investigación del asesinato de una joven figura pública. Poco personajes y sutiles pistas. Un toque de ese suspenso que sirve para atraparte.

Un punto desfavorable seria los pocos detalles que nos relató el autor en el foco principal, donde salen los nuevos sospechosos a interrogar. ¿Qué averiguaron el equipo de Foster en esa madrugada?, pues sólo sabemos que Hubo "algo" y se lanzaron a detenerlos. También el hecho de un final un poco apresurado. Pero constando ser el primero de la serie, es uno bastante bueno.
