I love that we get so much more story with other characters throughout this war, personally loving all the Gaara I am getting!! Also, The Five Kage have made their grand entrance to the war!!!!

vol. 59 is more action-packed than ever, fights blitzing from one to the other and kishimoto setting the stage for his huge cast of characters' impending final showdown.
just when u think the shinobi alliance got things under control, it just unravels w/ the appearance of some mindbogglingly strong opponents. despite the number of fights here, all differ from one another, and i like how they dont involve only brawn but brains as well (gaara..goddamn i love him).
there are some funny moments to lighten things up amid all the doom. i have to say, however, that the themes of war, peace, and legacy are handled nicely and reveberate strongly in this volume, w/ some character development. also that 5-kage double splash pg's just epic.

This was so good. I promised myself I'll read the manga slowly but I can't even stop. I'm almost nearing the end.

Naruto has joined the fray, the five kage are engaged in battle and many of the opponents Naruto and his comrades have faced in the past are resurrected, along with the deceased jinchuuriki. The war is well under way and our heroes learn more about the enemy's plans.
