chock full of angst! Blankets is a very quick read despite its almost 600 pages. I don't much relate to the life of a teenage boy growing up in a religious Wisconsin household, but it was still an enjoyable read.

Didn't have time to finish before the book was due back to the library.

Absolutely adore this comic-memoir. It really benefits from its format with its expressive and interesting paneling, yet still has the reflective almost journal-esque quality of a more literary memoir.
