3.5. i really liked the story idea, but the writing is just outdated. i read this to read Julia though, so im excited to read that and understand what’s happening.

Book was very dense and I have other stuff I'd rather read right now. I'll probably go back to it at some point.

This book was really good. But it wasn’t THE BEST. I found my self falling asleep while reading it sometimes but nonetheless a good experience. I recommend this book to addicted political readers haha.

My first dystopian classic. I really enjoyed this book, until we got to the book within the book that went on and on about government and politics. That really took away the fictional magic I enjoyed so much in the first half. The ending was one of the few unhappy endings that I found fully satisfying. Overall, a great book for English classes and for students learning about government and society.
