This was a solid last novel by Terry Pratchett. Not only for the disc world series but for the Tiffany Aching adventures. It wraps up her adventures and the characters that surround her nicely.

It is lacking a bit in full length but Terry's Alzheimers was getting worse at this time and I believe past before he was completely done with the story.

It was still quite good. I had put off reading this one because of Pratchett's passing mid-way through, but I don't know that I would have noticed, frankly.

I was having a rough June. I needed a win. I've held off reading this because it's the last and just thinking about it makes me emotional.

Thank you Sir Terry, for everything. Especially this last win.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld books are always a joy. This one, though, is bittersweet. His last novel is also the last in the series about Tiffany Aching, a young witch who's always trying to heal her community, care for her friends, and protect her home. I would recommend reading the other books in her series first, as this one layers on the ones before it.

Any fan of Terry's work will love it. He was a gifted storyteller, satirist, and (though he might disagree) moralist. I would have loved to have known him.
