:'(

a fine send-off for one of my generation's best fantasists.

GNU Terry Pratchett.

What a fitting, wonderful end to a series.

This book was beautiful. A perfect ending to the series. While I wish Terry Pratchett had been given more time in life to write more books in his world, I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to enjoy the abundance of books he did get the chance to write down and publish and share with all of us.

I know I’ll be rereading this series every year.

A very fitting ending to a amazing set of books. I read this through many tears and even though the ending was as it should be, certainly not sad, it took me 10 minutes to read those last few lines, I even considered not reading them as I didn't want it to be over.

For me there is a certain something with all of Sir Terry Pratchett's books, all those that love them have an instant bond with strangers upon discovering a shared love for them. For me personally There is no other author who has created a world where there is no one main character to follow, except the Great A'tuin themself. We as readers get to choose who's story we want to follow. My Favourites are Death & Tiffany Aching, luckily for me I visited both in this book.

Finished this again after re-reading the previous Tiffany books, and I was still teary reading this. I think I shall always read this with a tear .

I'll do a proper review on youtube. But I'm torn on this. It's so sad, especially knowing the background, but it's so interesting reading it also knowing that's it's basically a rough draft. Better than any rough draft I've ever written. But you can see parts that he'd probably go back to, and you wonder about others. The book is interesting in it's own rights. I love the redemption of the Queen elf though I'm saddened by it's conclusion honestly. Mostly it's just fascinating considering it's history.

This was wonderful, but sad book. Sir Terry knew he was dying when he wrote it and I think that the way he wrote
SpoilerGranny Weatherwax's death
was a gift to the readers to allow them to grieve. It was lovely and touching, and even as a new fan who only started reading his books after his death, I found myself getting really weeping.

You can tell a bit that this book wasn't completely finished. Mostly, the transitions were just a bit rough and not every end was wrapped up. But honestly, these stories are so good that it's still a 5-star read. Delightful prose, memorable characters, and a creative story, as always.

Thank you, Sir Terry.
