I read this book over 4mo as I read other things and that is so the way to do it. Taking time to go through Alderton’s life slowly is worth it. Don’t rush it.
Also, I’ve seen this book advertised in the “self-help” genre or as a “twenties bible” and it is definitely a memoir. Ofc you can gain a lot from the lesson she has learned, but don’t go into it expecting it to tell you what to do with your own life.
I enjoyed the journey a lot and fell in love with her causal writing style.
Great book.

Oh how I love being a woman! Dolly Alderton talks about girlhood, womanhood, and all that's in between in such an approachable and relatable way that this memoir was an absolute treat! Highly recommend listening to any and all memoirs as audiobooks narrated by the author. Highly recommend to all women, but especially for those in the throes of their mid to late 20s!
