Fast paced and interesting from the first page.  Loved getting to know a character in this book that was in another book by the author. Definitely will be reading part 2 of this duology next.

3 and a half stars. The story was great and the characters (especially Hester) were likable. But I don't understand the title and the back story for Wilde. It had nothing to do with the plot. I kept thinking it would resolve at some point, but it doesn't. It bothered me that this was thrown in for no apparent reason. Otherwise though, a fast-paced story with good twists. Which is pretty much why I read this author.
