A brilliant story! There was so much humor to the story I laughed the entire book. This is the 6th book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. There were characters from previous books that made appearances in the story and even the Sinclair family (which I also adore) popped in to help! Primrose was such an adorable character. She was smart, unpredictable and very courageous. She had a tendency to get into trouble very easily! Benjamin seemed to think he had to “rescue” her often (even when she didn’t need help J). The story was so captivating and had so many surprises (lots of water and kid-napping). I’m a huge fan of the author and definitely recommend this book and all of the author’s books!

BEN PLEASE take a page out of Oliver's book and clean up your messes before they re-kidnap someone! I will give him credit for attempting to bring in a magistrate and bringing along useful help when taking the law into his own hands. He would get more credit if he had been armed at all times. But this was a delightful conclusion to this series! Primrose and Ben spent quite a lot of their courtship falling in various bodies of water, so I'm thinking that they need to prioritize teaching their future children to swim! I'm going to miss this crazy family! Happy Reading!

This shook it up a little bit and I am beyond relieved. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the previous book in the series. The hero and heroine had good chemistry, could feel the tension between them flow off the pages. A quick, easy read and I actually enjoyed reading their story.
Definitely felt as if this book could easily be read alone and you would easily understand the world and know the characters from previous books. I do love this series, even if the plot mostly repeats itself, it’s just such an easy escape for a few hours. I felt a lot of emotions reading this.
