My second favorite! I love Smith and his broody ways. Smith and Emilia meet in a bar, she’s new in town, he’s a regular. They have one magical weekend, not expecting to see each other again, until Emilia starts her new job as a social media manager for the very same hockey team Smith plays for. This one has dual timelines, age gap, forbidden romance and steam.
4.5⭐️ This is book 4 of the Carolina Comets series, and I can’t stop myself from binging.
Emilia Anderson is the hockey teams’s social media manager, but before she got hired, she spent one magical weekend with Owen Smith, the team’s veteran player. Since the organization has a no fraternization policy between staff and players, the two have kept their distance until she is assigned to create a player profile series on Smith.
This is definitely the steamiest of the books so far! It was clear how badly the two wanted to be together, which made the forbidden aspect so much fun, especially when they had to hide their relationship from their close friends and sneak around. The conflict also fit into the story well and was not added just for the element of the third act breakup. As I always say, Teagan Hunter does banter and text exchanges so well that it happens to be my favorite part of her books.

Sin Bin by Teagan Hunter is a hockey romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Tim Paige and Callie Dalton. This is the fourth book in the Carolina Comets series.
I love Teagan’s books! I loved the relationship that bloomed between Owen & Emilia. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can’t wait to jump into the next book in the series Scoring Chance so I can get Miller and Scout's story.
Tim and Callie did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like sports romances, romantic comedies, age gap romance or contemporary romances.

This is not my favorite of this series... I loved Emelia and her ambition. I thought her character development was really strong. Smith isn't my favorite and I think having him contemplate his next career move was a good conflict for him.
What I didn't love what that it felt very insta-lovey... These two characters have been pining for each other for 2 years after spending two days together... I needed to either see more of the conversations they had, or they should've spent a week together. I wanted more of a foundation for them to be so infatuated for so long.

(I received an ARC for this book)
She’s the epitome of everything I want but can’t have, and I fucking hate it.
We’re back again with the Carolina Comets, and this time we get to spend some much needed time with Smith! Mr Old and Fussy, isn’t at all old and fussy. Especially when it comes to Emilia. He’s all kinds of soft and sweet. Emilia and Smith have already met and exchanged pleasantries. But they’ve managed to not cross paths all too much since then. Especially considering she’s his coach’s niece AND she works for the team! But there’s no more avoiding each other when they have to work together one and one. And there’s no time to ignore the undeniable chemistry (or tension) between them! Now their lives are intertwined more than ever before and they can’t avoid the inevitable anymore! Even though they only had two days together in their bubble when they first bed, Smith has remembered every single detail about her in their two years “apart”. The way she orders her whiskey sour, and her coffee. Her favorite movies, the secrets they shared between them. He never let go of her, and she never let go of him. Smith doesn’t do the whole “stay” thing, but Emilia always stayed on his mind, in his heart. And, hanging on his wall (IYKYK!) I think if this was any other player, I would have been shocked by Smith’s grand gesture for Emilia. But it was perfect. I loved being back with the Comets again. It’s never a dull moment with them!

Honestly this book needs a PSA: read in front of an open freezer door! Smith has a filthy side that you will love, a protective streak that will make you swoon and a caring side that will melt your heart. But under his gruff exterior Smith is vulnerable - is his career coming to an end and if so what will that mean for him when hockey is his whole life? Emilia is working hard to prove herself in her job and squash the murmurs of nepotism; my heart hurts so much for her that she has to choose between her job and Smith, both of which she loves. The heat between these two is scorching but I also love the deep connection that develops between them. As I have come to love in the Carolina Comets series, there is some witty text exchanges, hilarious banter and support from the Comets family. I have been looking forward to Smith and Emilia’s story through the series and it didn’t disappoint.
