I would have never expected the ending. There was so much emotion and change that it took me by surprise (in a good way)! A story of the internal battle everyone has when things aren’t going the way they had imagined.

Such a unique plot. It was not what I was expect but really enjoyed this. TW: miscarriages and gun violence

Mia and her husband have recently moved from stressful, fast-paced Philadelphia to settle into a cute country home in Hope Springs, where they can breathe fresh air and emotionally recover from two miscarriages before trying again to have a child. As they get to know their neighbors in the small town, Mia is shocked to meet the man whose face has consistently appeared in her dreams since she was in college. And what does it mean that, once she gets the chance to speak to him (at the risk of sounding like a lunatic), Oliver reveals that he has been dreaming about her too?

I brought this along on vacation, and both the mood and setting were a perfect fit. I'm truly surprised this hasn't received more buzz — I couldn't put it down. It was emotional, fascinating and more than a little bit heartbreaking. The author kept me guessing where it was going, and I appreciated the restraint shown. Recommended for your next getaway!

Thought this book was going to be predictable, boy was I wrong. Great story telling, vivid details, I read the whole book in one sitting and was crying for the last 50 pages. Fantastic read!

Harrison and Mia, surgeon and artist respectively, have hit a bit of a difficult patch in their marriage. They've recently suffered their 3rd miscarriage and Harrison is still grieving the loss of a young patient for whom he felt responsible. Enter Oliver, the man Mia has had recurring dreams about for years. Even more strangely, Oliver has shared the same dreams. Things get complicated as they go on a quest to discover why they share dreams. A love story/beach read with a sad twist and a hopeful ending. Coming in January 2020.
