Wow. This book was amazing. I can't believe how much i loved this book. I wasn't really sure what this book was about when i first started reading it, but i knew i had to read it because it was so raved about and now i know why. Juliette has spent her whole life knowing that she was different to everyone else and that her touch was lethal. I loved Juliette i really felt my heart break for what she had to endure at the hands of her parents and just everyone. I felt such deep connections for most of the characters and i just loved them and i know everyone loves Warner but i just out right hated him in this book. He was an ass. So i guess i will leave my full option about him until i have read the other books but in this book i wanted to smack him one. The book is well written. and very detailed. There are still a few questions i have that are unanswered so i am hoping they will be answered in the other books. This book is a must read.

I am completely hooked on this series! I can’t wait to read on.

I was captivated by the whole plot line in the story. And Kenji is low key my favorite character. I won’t ruin it for anyone who might read this review but I am anxious to read the rest of the books!

I’m giving it 2.5 stars and I will absolutely not round it up to 3.

So, the fact that it’s 2.5 it’s because I had already spoiled myself the love interest, so I swear to God I couldn’t have cared less about Adam. He got shot and I was giggling, like finally!!! my man Aaron arrived.

And even if I hadn’t spoiled myself the love interest, I doubt I’d be rooting for Juliette and Adam because it felt too insta-lovey.

Also, are you telling me it takes a WHOLE ORGANIZATION’S LABORATORY with who knows how many geniuses and powerful people working in it… TO GIVE THIS GIRL GLOVES?

this book has me captivated from the very first page. i love how it's journal entries from the main character, and some words are crossed out or repeated multiple times to show how deranged she truly is. but as the book goes on there are less words crossed out and not as much repeating,  which is a great touch to show that shes more sane now than before. overall a great book and i can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I did like the plot but her writing was very awkward that makes the story less enjoyable
There are a lot of metaphors but the metaphors were just awkwardly written and not flowing, as well as the repetitions of words and phrases..
