Just Say Yes is sweet and charming, short story. Readers who like a romance but without all of the really "hot" stuff...sex, will want to check out this book.

I like that the main character, Everly is a mature adult that is not in her twenties. Not every love story has to be about a couple in their twenties or thirties. The author does a lovely job of showcasing that second chances at love can be a wonderful thing. Amy did not make it awkward between Everly and her "fake husband". There were real sparks happening between them.

If you are looking for a quick book to read on a weekend afternoon, than, you will want to pick up a copy of this book. Just saying "Yes" will be the best choice you make.

Just Say… Yes! by Amy Stephens
Published: September 1, 2021

I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Amy Stephens is a new adult/contemporary romance author. Born and raised in Alabama, she lives just minutes from the beautiful gulf coast beaches. When she's not busy writing, you'll find her reading, going on cruises with her husband, or taking a road trip for a girl's weekend getaway. She's a huge sports fan, but she prefers watching the games at home, where she can curl up on the couch with her three cats.

“Yes! Yes! Just say Yes!”

Everly is on a cruise with her best friend celebrating their 30-year high school reunion. Being divorced, Everly knows she won’t have as much fun as her friend and husband, but she is determined to enjoy herself. When she finds herself on stage for the cruises couples game- the last thing she expected was to see a blast from the past. Will love conquer all, or will it sink?

This was such a sweet story. I enjoyed the way the past and present were intertwined to tell the tale.

I love the idea of a high school reunion taking place on a cruise ship and the game show for couples.

The connection between Everly and Andy is so pure and genuine. This was such a fun story. The characters were all charming and relatable.

This could very easily be turned into a series, and that would be fantastic. Who doesn’t love a happily ever after?
