My non-fiction pick for this month was the biography written on Formula 1 driver Kimi Räikkönen. A man of few words in interviews this book gives an insight into his values, upbringing, and fascinating career not only in F1 but WRC and other rallying. However, this book doesn't detail the entirety of Kimi's career as the book was published in 2018 and Kimi only retired from F1 racing in 2021.
One downfall of the book I found was that the author didn't know much on F1 and at times could have went into more detail on some aspects of F1. However, maybe this was done on purpose so that the biography could be picked up by anyone and not necessarily just fans of F1.
It is a nice short and sweet biography that was very easy to read and enjoyable. If your a fan of F1 racing and/or Kimi then I think you would enjoy it! It even includes some iconic phrases he's known for at the end! Overall I enjoyed the biography and learned a lot more about Kimi's character and values something that he hasn't previously showed to the media.
