I think the thing that makes this book so interesting is how this true crime writer knew Ted Bundy and volunteered with him at a suicide hotline. How ironic.

the content was definitely interesting but the writing so wasn't worth it. it wouldn't need a genius to find out that even though Rule tried to deny umpteenth times that she wasn't in love with Ted Bundy, anyone with accurate reading comprehension would find out that she very much was one of those women charmed and manipulated by him, albeit not in a romantic relationship. which is awful, to be honest.

I really enjoyed this book, but I did feel that it dragged on at some points. It was so interesting to get the point of view of someone who knew a serial killer. Ted Bundy was insane, obviously, but there was so much more to him that people don’t know.
