I loved this book, it kept my attention from start to finish & I didn’t want to do anything else after I started reading. However, I still wish it had given more; more plot, background, story, character development. There was a large cast but I felt like I followed along fine due to only about 5 or 6 characters having big parts. The rage is potent in White’s writing here and the social commentary is glorious, I loved seeing it addressed.

2.5 stars. I didn't hate it, it was just ok. This was supposed to be an adult horror, but it read more like a YA paranormal. I agree with other readers that there were way too many characters to keep up with. Unnecessary romance, slow to start, then just stops at the end during the action scene! The idea was great, but I feel the author didn't carry it out nearly to what it could have been.
