I like that these books introduced the concept of a “chess master” but there were aspects that I found draining. I liked the HEA setup, but it felt like it ended suddenly and there should’ve been more to it, like an epilogue.

4.5 Stars.. Great ending to this series.. I would have liked to see a little more added to the end.. Maybe an epilogue for 6 months to a year down the road.. But other than that, it was a great series.
