This was truly one demented, excessively gory and odious, yet unique book. I don't think I'll ever be able to read this book again. I really enjoyed it, i think. 😅 I like to think i have a pretty strong stomach. I've seen many a thing in my life, but NEVER before has a book made me so nauseated that I physically turned the book from my face and looked away from it to process and not vomit on my book and bed 🤢... but just like true horror, it drew me back in.

This was a "read at your own pace" buddy read, with three IG friends. We shall see what they think as well!!

Hooooo boy is this one a ride. Very graphic, disturbing, but unlike some other horror novellas that I've read recently, the plot and point of this one was actually interesting and kept me wanting to read and find out what the fuck was going on. Lots of trigger warnings (I always make sure to add those). But this was actually an interesting read for a gore story.

This is a really effed up novella, and there are literally TW saturated on every page. Not for faint-hearted. You've got to have a very strong stomach to be able to read this.

I don't think I can adequately describe how gross this book was, it's most definitely not safe for human consumption.

No amount of brain bleach will remove the horrors of this book from my mind, truly disgusting and I honestly have no idea what is wrong with Mr Ralston.

A play on room/womb womb is a single room horror story, a man brings a overweight sex worker to a pay by the hour motel room and he starts telling her more and more depraved and disgusting stories, she in turn tells him some horrible stories of her life and clients, culminating in one of the weirdest endings I have ever read.

This book made me question what the heck I just read.

So I did mostly enjoy Woom, I think. There were 100% a couple of absolutely toe curling moments, but, I think I may have been reading too much splatter punk recently because nothing came as *super* shocking.

There was a slight twist (more of a reveal) that worked really well, but I did find a fair few of the stories to be a little predictable.

Also shout out to Shyla, the plus sized prostitute who is apparently colour blind cause girl those flags you were missing? They were red as heck yo
