The writing is very curious, I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a translated work or if that’s just the writer’s style. It was an interesting book from a perspective I hadn’t read before. It’s definitely a more experimental book than what I normally read, but I didn’t understand the characters motivations or actions.

So tepid. So unhappy and unresolved.

This book wants to be devoured and savored. Its now probably one that I have to add to the must read once a year pile. I can't wait to pick it up again! This left me breathless in its simplicity.
