This book is definitely dated in its approach to sexual harassment and the dirty talk was l o l but one thing I did enjoy was Harriet's no-nonsense approach to Gideon's eccentricities.

This book was an absolute joy!
I really enjoyed that the mystery that brought them together continued after they got together. It's really fun reading about couples working together!!!
Also love the fossils!
It does suffer, as some books of it's age do, with a lack of explicit consent or really good sex imo.

A charming read! The premise made me grin and the stubbornness of everyone involved was mostly delightful. Harriet having a very in depth interest in archeology and research made her much more interesting and it was easy to see how they fell together!
