It was nice, 3.5? Felt like it was getting repetitive and I was waiting for “the point” of it all

Interesting. Easy read. Not like her other work, but I enjoyed it.

I wasn't so sure about the first half of the book, but once I got to about 60%, it got really good. The nostalgia and beauty and appreciation of her father and their simple, ordinary days was all so lovely. I really loved the thoughts about growing up with you parents and about childhood memories being the parents' favorite memories, too. I really appreciated that this was a love story about family and friends and self, yet I liked the hint of full-circle romantic love at the end. It was satisfying without taking away from the depth of the novel.

words cannot describe just how much this book touched my heart
the writing was just so beautiful, it flowed so well and tbh I don’t rlly enjoy time travel or anything but this was just sooooo well written, I didn’t mind
I loved it, alice’s story and relationship w her dad was just so 😭💞
I might sob thinking about this so I am going to end the review here

I was a bit bored in the beginning, but this ended up being a lovely book. Alice gets the opportunity to travel back in time to change her life and learn more about her father, who in current day is on his death bed. I thought the author did a great job digging into relationships and so nicely rounding out the ending. My one concern - was this cat immortal? What the heck
