I really enjoyed this book! It really delves into the father daughter relationship and loss. The time travel aspect wasn’t super sci fi and they incorporated it in a way that made sense. The cat in the book is easily like 50 years old but outside of that weird plot hole, the story was really good and had a lot of cute moments. Was a good reminder to appreciate the people in your life and the time you have with them. 4.5 rounded up

Not sure why I enjoyed this so much...I liked the complicated father-daughter relationship and what it had to say about immortality. And I liked the 90's and NYC details. Mostly I just liked the writer's voice.

Not her best. I thought I’d be into the part about her dad but that didn’t really heat up until the end.  Otherwise it is sort of revisiting an idealized version of high school that I couldn’t really relate to.  There is always a lot of privilege in her books but this one was over the top even for me.
