"Best of Luck" delves into the life of a man who thrives on the luck of others, masquerading as a friend while orchestrating their downfall. While one individual reaps all the rewards of wealth, fame, and glory, another endures one tragedy after another. 
Despite its intriguing premise, the story falls short in execution, primarily because it was just too short. 
A deeper exploration of Barry and Will's friendship would have greatly enhanced the narrative's depth and resonance.

This is a thrilling scary story with a pretty original concept as far as I can tell; I really enjoyed it! The author has a real skill for creating tension and developing characters even within such a limited page-count. I wish he expanded on the creature a bit more, but I am interested in reading more of his work.

This starts out as a story about a jealous friend (Will) down on his luck looking for someone (Barry) to blame. Just when you think Will is simply off his rocker, it spirals into a gory Black Mirror-worthy tale evoking thoughts about karma vs. unforeseen evil entities.

Well, that was something.

At first, Best of Luck seemed a tad confusing; however, by the end, I wanted more! This story had plenty of gore and a dark little twist; it reminded me of Stephen King's short story Fair Extension, but gorier!
