A unique, well written book; even decades after being published it's not like anything I've read before. So fun and entertaining for the most part, but there are some slow stretches.

I don’t remember when I started this but uhhhhh I finally finished it!!!!!! This is a very high 4 stars for me and probably would be a 5 if I hadn’t taken that reading break but oh well!! Also this is the first audiobook I’ve ever finished so yay!! I was super engaged the whole time and I absolutely loved Lyra. I feel like for female mc’s the author just says they’re smart and the reader just has to… accept that?? But for Lyra we saw how smart she was and how clever she was in solving problems and I enjoyed it a lot! Hopefully I can get to the sequel during the winter season
