This feels like a poor, or maybe just outdated, attempt at a Strong Female Character (TM). Maybe this is due to the the art, with its weird proportions and annoyingly unnecessarily revealing outfits (or complete lack of any clothes) combined with the dull, poorly choreographed action scenes combined with narration telling us about Devi rather than getting to see what she is actually like
