This book overall was super interesting and informative! Especially in understanding my own tendencies (I took a lot of notes re: how I could understand my own likelihood to engage in destructive tendencies.
This book is definitely heady and was a difficult read; I found skimming the actual games to look for patterns was more valuable than trying to read them all to gain full understanding. It could be used as a manual though.

There are some weird and outdated examples (e.g., alcoholism and rape identified as games) which I think could probably be updated in a revision. In the example of alcoholism, it's presented as not a disease and in the case of rape, something that the woman lures the man into. These are outdated ideas and could benefit from an update. The points are still sound throughout the book, however, as long as you're willing and able to see the inherent patriarchal issues present.
