Great end to the series. A fun, quick, lighthearted read.

The final to a beloved trilogy,,, based on another book I hold dearly in my heart- I started the book when it came out and then refused to finish it, the gentle pang of sadness over not wanting the story to end felt very akin to being a kid again, it was another good book- focused more on snow and his depression and his complicated relationship with magic and his partner baz, I felt seen and that's always mildly concerning, I understood his fears of thinking your no longer being enough for your friends and partner, after you finally stop people pleasing to the point its just hurting you. silly little gay vampires and magicians can still have big adult feelings too. I really love this series, if your looking for a wizard book series without the terf writer and less  ablisist/sexist/racist undertones, you should try the carry on series, you don't even need to read the book that inspired it. It's just,,, so lovely and the author truly cares about her characters and their portrayal.

Crowley, this book was insane! When I saw this, I knew I had to get it and I'm so glad that I did because this book was the ending I needed. It's gorgeously well-written and honestly should be celebrated!
Simon, Baz, Penny, Agatha, Shepard and Niamh are wonderful and feel really sensitive and real and I love how their relationships are built and developed so they feel like they could really exist in the real world.
Rainbow Rowell, well done - this was spectacular!
