I was excited to read this series, but it really hasn't aged well. I know it came out in 2002, but I feel like even then, the slurs used were considered, well, slurs. It's also tough reading about Row v Wade and Israel v Palestine discourse in 2024. Don't know if I'll be able to keep reading, even though the plot really has me interested.
