Sloan and Lillian made for a much better story than Ax and Nyx in the previous book. I liked the backstory, the angst, and their interactions. It did have a bit too much of a miscommunication grope going (not one of my favorites), but the overall story was good, and I liked how it ended up playing out.

This series has me in a chokehold. I read this in one day and I can not wait to read another book by Eden Emory.

it felt like the book would've been 10 pages if they stopped having the same conversation over and over again, I get miscommunication as a trope but this felt like overkill.
but I did love lillian and I loved sloan going into it, I really enjoyed the flashback chapters too

So…there were a lot of typos in this book. And it was also hard to track passage of time (how long is this weekend? Was Sloan there for 3 weeks or 3 days?) The spice was indeed
