My first book by Eden Emory and it was an absolute slay. Sloan and Lillian were straight up addicting. The angst was so solid…I nearly had a heart attack. This hit so many checkboxes. The tension was so GOOD.
You do not have to read book one to enjoy this one.
Previous characters are mentioned, but it is not detrimental to the story. In saying that, I’ll definitely be reading anything Eden writes…so to the backlist I go!

This was a hot sapphic romance and it was very heartbreaking before the HEA (in the very best ways), but I just didn't vibe with the characters that much I guess.

I can’t decide which is my favorite between the first book and this one..I love them both!
Sloane and Lillian are so insanely in love with each other but they don’t know how to talk about their feelings so they spend years in misery trying to fill the void.
Step siblings is an elite trope for a reason, and this book executes it perfectly! The tension and angst combined with the forced proximity..it’s the ideal setup and it was everything!
The spice was scorching hot, some of the best written sex scenes out there. You believe in their connection and root for them to get their shit together the entire time. It’s not an easy journey to their HEA but when you finally get there, it’s so sweet!
This series needs to get a whole lot more attention because I don’t think Eden Emory is showing any signs of slowing down! Read this!!
