This one flowed much better than book 1, and I did like the character-building a lot more.

After the first book's ending, Sloan had done some jail time and was now on house arrest. She decides to stay at her mom's vacant home and thought she'd be alone. However, that wasn't the case.

There was less mafia talk in this one, which is probably why I enjoyed it more.

A solid 3.75 rounded up to 4 stars.
