Interesting twists and turns that kept me guessing until close to the end. I love that the story is split into different timeline perspectives of before and present. It keeps you guessing as the information slowly unfolds and you continue to question who you can trust. One of the best parts of the book is part 2 called the reckoning. Just when you think the author would wrap up their story, they take you on the next step of the character's journey, adding a lot of depth to the plot.

Was a good read. Liked the plot and the alternance between the past and the present! The ending was a bit deceiving in its lack of twist. Otherwise, I liked reading it and did it in one sitting!
