Very thought provoking for sure although personally for me, quite depressing. Don't much look forward to his version of the future. Don't know how much I believe, but he makes some convincing points and makes me want to keep thinking and learning about the past, present and future. Took off one star because I did lose a little interest somewhere in the middle- maybe it was just too much to take in a short time. I did put the book down for a week or so and once I returned to it got right back into it. Certainly presents theories worth much contemplation.

The sheer optimism of books written before 2016 when the only thing we had to worry about was AI because we were post war and plagues.

Thought-provoking, Harari is brilliant!

Overall good. Would likely have been 5 stars if read in isolation, but a large portion was repeated from Sapiens. Those who have recently read Sapiens may wish to skip/skim the first two of three parts.

I have mixed feelings after reading the book.
Obviously it was very well written and very engaging - otherwise I wouldn't give it 5 stars.
But the subjects he's debating is both very interesting and a bit scary. I don't agree with everything - at all - but it's a very cool and important debate Harari tries to start.

Nice book to read, thought provocative. Yet most of the stuffs are already discussed on the 'Sapiens' itself. the things mention in the book at a glance may seem unlikely to happen, but as it mention in the book itself, we can able to see some of the thing are already happening.
