This book was good! I also was not expecting the plot twist that occurred.💔My main take away is that you’re never sparing anyone’s feelings by pushing them away because it’s what YOU think is best for THEM. If you have something you THINK they’ll look at you differently for or would be “giving up”, then be honest and upfront (no matter how embarrassing or hard it may be) and let THEM make their own decisions. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and feelings, if they decide they’d still like to be with you or apart of your life after your “confession” then so be it.

Really enjoyed this one! I enjoy Abby’s writing and thought this story had a lot of depth to it. Good character development and I enjoyed each of the characters - except the ex that shall not be named.

First, I understood Kristen too well, it was almost too painfully relatable. Second, everything that happened with Brandon high key triggered me, but that’s how life goes! I’ve already started Sloan’s story.

Once again, Abby Jimenez has written a book that I couldn’t put down. I’m in love with the characters of this book, especially Stuntman Mike, and their lives that are not Hallmark-perfect. As someone who had terrible periods and had a hysterectomy when I was 30, I can feel Kristen’s pain and how hard it is to go through such a thing. But having a partner who loves you unconditionally and can help you get through those insecurities is imperative.

I do not even know where to begin with this book. What a truly beautiful story about so many different forms of love. Love for someone you’re in love with, love for yourself, love for a best friend, and brotherly and sisterly love. This book had me sobbing many times by the end because of how wonderfully each of these loves was described and seeing how beautiful and powerful love for another can be. This book highlights the strength in putting others before yourself but also really emphasizes the love you must give yourself by putting yourself first. It’s a reminder of how truly short life could be and to tell the ones you love that you love them frequently. Abby takes such time and care to writing such sensitive topics. I am able to feel the emotions of what every character is going through. I have adored everything that I have read by Abby Jimenez to date and I cannot wait to continue reading her other books.
