The summer continues and it is still all about friendship to the max. Things are not always what they appear to be. That seems to be the overarching theme of this volume. Fun and imaginative. I love the characters and I find the stories to be very enjoyable.

This one was all about family. Sometimes family is a challenge and this book reminded us -that is okay. I love these graphic novels. I hope that they never stop! :)

2.5/5 - While this isn't a bad thing, this series has kind of fallen into the middle-grade dilemma of telling essentially the same story over and over with slightly different details. I did enjoy the last volume because we got a new character, but they're not in this volume at all. This was good and enjoyable, but this may be where I leave the Lumberjanes, at least for now.

I'm glad they brought back the Greek Mythology elements and the artwork was better, IMO. It did seem a little choppy (sometimes that happens....they used to have typos in the field manual which I chocked up to carefully place Easter eggs of some sort) but I love my Lumberjanes and all their adventures!!

Back of god(dess) business as someone turned the Zodiac cabin into stone. Lumberjanes are forced to work together (Roanoke and Diane) to save their friends. PLUS more mythological fun!

If you want the same craziness that always plagues the Lumberjanes of Roanoke Cabin mixed in with the craziness of the Greek Gods then this volume is the one for you! Artemis is back and she has to team up with the help of Roanoke cabin to save her old cabin Zodiac.

This volume follows along the lines of the others where the girls are thrust into a magical situation and the power of friendship is all they have to combat it. Definitely still a cute series, that is a lot of fun to read and new magical elements and twists keep popping up to keep the story entertaining.
