I'd classify it as AU Edward & Bella. Probably went as Iz, and the nickname was Bell instead. Made me lol in the epilogue when one of the kids was named Charlie.
Bff is Alice, with her Jasper of course.
Their parents were fun to read, and so Carlisle & Renee coded.

Cute story, I picked it because it has the surprise pregnancy trope, and it was cute. I appreciate the first dr appointment being pro choice through & through.

I really enjoyed this book.

It had two of the most underrated tropes, in my opinion, friends-to-lovers and the accindetal pregnacy. But it still felt like the book was way more than those tropes, which felt like a breath of fresh air to me, because lately I've read to many books where the author chooses the tropes they want to write instead of the actual story. But it wasn't the case in this book.

I liked both characters and I loved their romance and how it progressed. I also loved that it was a slow burn and that there was no third act break up!

My most favorite HBY by far!! Out on a Limb is an absolute treasure (arrrrr!). I know that this surprise pregnancy took the romance world by storm when it came out, and it's so deserved!! This book taught me more about loving others and what that looks like in any relationship.

Win, the fmc, has a limb difference like HBY. HBY shares her raw and honest thoughts in an author's note before the book and it makes the story that much more special. Win's journey to motherhood may not look like what we're used to in romance but it's important and necessary that it gets to take up space on shelves around the world. I love her so much! She's laugh-out-loud funny, compassionate, and the kind of character that I wish was real so I could have her in my life.

The people were right when they said Bo is the perfect book boyfriend. Ha! Everything he does proves just how much he loves Win. From splitting finances equitably, to constantly surprising her with not-so-wanted but necessary expensive gifts. He's a sweet man with a huge heart (and other things ;)). A romance that's all about being chosen by the person you love. I will be screaming about this from the rooftops for the remainder of my life. Everyone should read it!

I heard about this one on TikTok and it was highly regarded. And I’m in the minority here, but I didn’t like it. There is really nothing wrong with this book, it just wasn’t for me.

The story is centered around an accidental pregnancy and although I know the author tried to write a story that is greater than the trope, I found it a little boring. My favorite authors are able to build these rich characters and witty banter and unfortunately this one fell flat in this area.

I really loved the story around why the author wrote the book and how it connected to her own experiences with disability and motherhood.

May be worth a try, but I won’t personally recommend.
