4.5 - I bought this a couple of years ago on a whim solely based on the title. Now I'm working my way through all the books I own but haven't read, and I wish I had gotten to it sooner! A very simple story without your typical narrative structure, but sometimes there's beauty in the mundane.

As a SAHM, I found it oddly refreshing to read about such *real* characters going through their normal life circumstances without all the boistrous intrigue people have come to expect. It had interesting yet relatable backstories that were slowly unveiled, giving you time to grow close with each one - always wanting to get to that last piece of their history, to finally see the entire puzzle put together. The ending, while wholesome, almost felt sudden, as I was left wanting to read more about how everyone's future unfolded, because I had become so attached to each character and wanted to know how their stories played out. Readers can be selfish that way.
