I was expecting a book about a serial killer, but the author also expounds on the rampant homophobia of the era and it was too much for this reader.

Wow that was an informative read! The Author truly did his research about the hideous murder cases. It was a gruesome crime in which 5 lives ended in the hand of one man. Just because of their sex orientation. And as technology was evolving, equipment to detect cases suspect was also easier. After a long and difficult investigation, all utilized manpower they finally got the suspect. I just wish the suspect talked about the reason as to why he did those hideous things.

This book also give us a glimpse of information as to how the world treat people due to their sex orientation in the early 80s when people around the world doesn't accept them and when the spread of AIDS was at its peak. It was a difficult years for our LGBTQ people.

There was so much back history of AIDs & gay's in the US that I felt like I was getting a history lesson rather than hearing about the crimes. By the time he moved on to the next killing I was like wait what are you talking about? Then my book returned and I hadn't finished it, & I just cannot use another Hoopla check out on this title.

I'm planning on reading (maybe) some articles about the case for True Crime & Brew so I know what's going on!
