Un peu déçue de pas avoir plus accroché que ça mais c’est à dire que le premier voyage j’ai eu l’impression de revoir le film que j’ai regardé y a quelques mois, le deuxième c’est littéralement un copié collé mais les personnages sont géants au lieu d’être minuscules, et les deux derniers j’étais juste plus du tout motivée pour me concentrer.

That sure was a literary classic.
Entertaining to read, amusing and sometimes surprisingly cutting criticisms of Britain, colonialism and Western philosophy. Sometimes a bit hard to follow reading three hundred years distant, but generally very transparent satire or just plainly ridiculous. A silly little guy.

I'm sure this will only get more interesting as I look up more context than I already have.
A good tale of travelling and to see the world a bit as a Martian would to ours! All the foilbles of mankind and the weakness of the mindset of the travelling conquerer lie within. Descriptions become dry but more a sign of times of writing gone by. A classic of reference to add to the arsenal.

I laughed occasionally. It is worth a read, but there are more interesting books out there.
