Compared to the rest of the parts of Endless Winter, especially the ones that didn't get a special (Aquaman and Flash), this felt really poor. It was basically a love letter to Supes about how awesome he is. Don't me wrong; I love the guy, but you can do that in a normal Superman comic. However, this was a special event and in my opinion specials for events are supposed to add something to the event via that character. This one just felt like a completely pointless addition to the whole event.
It was still a sweet comic, and the scenes with Clark and his family were spot on. I just feel that the opportunity to do more with this special was missed - and before someone says it, that's not due to the lack of fighting. A powerful character doesn't need to be always fighting for it to be a powerful issue.
