Absolutely heartracing. The best ending to a first book! Kept me on my toes, couldn't put the book down. Purchased the second book the minute I closed the first one. Breathtaking!!!

Okay i read this book within the first week i had it (i ordered from his presale). It was such a GREAT book. the worldbuilding is epic, there is a strong female MC, and there is a slow burn in there that has me DYING to get my hands on book 2.

I absolutely adored this book! I felt so connected to the characters! Like they were my friends! It took me a while to get into the book but it’s because school started and i didn’t have much time to really read but i’m glad i pushed true because after 100 pages i was absolutely hooked to the story, the plot, the different powers shown in the book. The writing style was also SO pretty!

WOULD DEF RECOMMEND!!!

Very enjoyable YA high fantasy read! The writing was detailed and descriptive and I loved the magical elements and the overall storyline. I pre-order the book after coming across Garrett's tiktok about the story.

My small issue personally was that multiple POVs just isn't my favorite, the first half of the book I was super intrigued by one specific character and was slightly disappointed every time the perspective switched. This got better later on in the book as all the storylines start connecting.

Overall though I loved it and read it in two days, will keep my eye out for more from this author in the future!

This book…needs an editor. Some things were really repetitive and it was annoying. Also, Ciara is so incredibly boring, and I don’t see how she’s important to the story at all. I would like to read the second book to support the author, but I think some things could be improved! It’s on the way to being great.
