I don't care for any of these characters and they're romance honestly. It's also so predictable

I had a lot of fun with this one - it's warm, cheesy, like that feeling of soup settling in your stomach or the tickle of a good glass of wine. It's light, it's predictable in some ways, but it still feels good. I had some questions that weren't answered, but I think that's the magic of it. It was cheesy, emotional and held up well even as the book progressed. The book itself was like a recipe with characters for ingredients. Sad, at times, and it certainly got me emotional and I loved the writing style. It was so incredibly human - it didn't feel rough or forced, it flowed like a conversation with a good friend. I'd certainly say this is a good, sappy, feel good rom-com which has never been my style, and I liked the ending quite a bit. Pacing was good this, the plot line was well established and never have I ever wanted to live in a NYC apartment so badly!
