Absolutely amazing anthology! There was not a single story that I didn't like and most of them left me wanting more, needing full novels of them.

I was so excited to read this book but it didn’t take longfor me to want it to be over. Some of the stories I enjoyed and others were alright but there were also some I flat out did not enjoy reading.

There are a handful of gems in this collection, but I struggled with reading it because there were so many duds.

Ps. I understand the collection's value lies in its representation of various Spanish-speaking cultures from Latin America and the Caribbean, but the stories themselves did not do it for me.

I liked all the stories at least a little, but some are definitely for younger audiences. Favorites are Tame the Wicked Night (Zoraida Córdova), Sumaiko y la Sirena (Vita Ayala), Rouge Enchantments (Isabel Ibañez), Flecha (Daniel José Older), and Reign of Diamonds (Anna-Marie McLemore).

This was an enjoyable collection of short stories, but only two really stuck with me. Many felt like authors trying to find their voice. Worth reading, if short stories are your jam.

Didn’t enjoy three of the short stories that I’ll detail later why not  but every other one was very good if maybe could have been outlined better. I’m going to add specific praise later but it was fun to see sci-fi fantasy mixed here
