Old faithful. I just love this world and Jory and Sam. Adorable, frustrating and interesting.

I am reading the series from book #1 and on and I hafta tell ya that after book two all the colloquials really start gettin' on one's nerves.

I am also annoyed with Jory for not being able to say a firm "no" to his multiple fans and admirers and stick with it, instead inviting their advances by continuing to kiss, touch, going to lunches/dinners, answering the phone etc.

Otherwise - pretty good read :) Jory is fun, despite the obvious ADD.
Not sure how to rate it, somewhere between 3.5 and 4, but I think this book is better than the previous ones. 4 stars then :)

What a ride. I never suspected what I got in this book. Angst, drama and unconditional love.

2 Stars - Audio Review

Well that was disappointing

This is not my favourite book of the series, but the actual kindle book rates a lot higher than the audio version as the narrator in this one absolutely killed the story.
His narration style is the worst I have listened to.
He speaks fast and every character has this inflection at the end of the words that give them a stupid sounding accent that has nothing to do with the book or the character. They all sound like a bad mafia rendition.
It was painful to listen to.

Do yourself a favour and if you want to read this one, get the kindle copy and skip the audio

The story is a solid five stars for me, with a lot going for it and a terrific last two chapters. But this book needed some editing it'll probably never get (repetition, somewhat clunky sex scene prose, that kind of thing), and I can't in good conscience recommend it without warning you with fewer stars.

This is the story in which lessons that ought to've been learned by now are hammered home mercilessly. Jory takes some important steps toward setting stronger boundaries. Sam is the major stressor on their relationship this time. But of course, nothing is that simple, and Jory's involved, so the hazards are many. I checked out But For You shortly before I finished Bulletproof, if you're wondering if I'll be reading the rest of the series.
