While there are a bit questionable actions done by the MMC, Walker is a pretty mild psycho. Especially compared to the first book in the series. I really enjoyed this book and happy Walker & Olivia got their HEA!
Walker "Disney" Davis is a NHL goalie what believes he'll know who his true love is instantly when he sees her and that's exactly what happens when he sees Olivia Darling at one of his games. Don't understand her extreme simping for Lincoln though.
Olivia Darling is a child superstar that's been manipulated her whole life/career. When she finally stands up for herself, she finds herself trapped in a conservatorship where she has no freedom left. She's lost all hope until she sneaks out one night to attend her cousin's hockey game.
Walker will do anything keep Olivia on her side. Coming up with a plan he manages to convince Olivia's mother & agent that he's a beneficial relationship to date Olivia. While he's dating Olivia and make her fall in love with her, he's also plotting to end her conservatorship.
My favorite scene was definitely the hammer scene!

Holy smoke, this was a great read! I just love Disney, he is so earnest and sweet and a little deranged, but in an overprotective, caring way, lol.
So Walker has found his woman, now all he has to do is convince her that her really does love her, she does deserve happiness and persuade her to stay with him, easy right? While his methods would not be condoned in real life this is a book, and as such I am here for it! His obsession with her is, I think, actually quite sweet and, in his mind, his solution to getting her to never leave him is perfect.
I loved how much she blossomed with his love and care and, while I cried at some of the parts of her life, that ending was poetic justice!
Who's next to join the circle of trust, can't wait to find out.

Okay it's no secret that Ari was my favorite...but how can I not also be a simp for Walker?!?!? He's also like a morally grey golden retriever and I ate it up! He is down so bad for Olivia and I loved it! The chemistry between them is so thick and his filthy mouth....omg it's perfect. I also can't get enough of the group chats and the other guys - they are all so fucking funny together. Loved the audiobook for this one too! I couldn't stop listening!

I didn’t read the first two books in the series but I think I will! A typically dirty/dark love story. The writing wasn’t too bad, a few random things (the piercing lol like what) but overall an easy read. Decently steamy scenes.
